Legal Ownership & Licensing
Each OutWorld NFT confers full digital ownership to its holder, verifiable on-chain. Upon minting, users are granted a limited commercial license, allowing them to use their avatars in personal content, streaming, derivative artwork, and social media branding.
Key licensing terms include:
Personal and Creative Use: Fully permitted
Commercial Use: Allowed up to a specific revenue cap (to be detailed in terms of service)
No Claim to Lore or Trademarks: Users may not commercialize the broader OutWorld IP (e.g., galaxy names, logos, or unminted characters)
The goal is to strike a balance between user empowerment and brand integrity, enabling the community to engage creatively without compromising the project’s narrative foundation.
